Federation and Empire

Modern Conquest and War Games

Federation and Empire, often abbreviated F&E, is a strategic level board wargame set in the Star Fleet Universe, a Star Trek spinoff setting. The game was originally published in 1986 by Task Force Games and is currently published by Amarillo Design Bureau Inc. It functions as a grand strategy title in which players manage resources, build ships and conduct large scale military operations across a galactic map spanning the setting's major powers. While nominally designed for two players, the game accommodates team play with up to eight participants, with each player potentially controlling a separate empire's own set of records within a larger multi-empire conflict.
