Equate is a board game published by Conceptual Math Media in 1996 in which two to four players or teams score points by forming mathematically correct equations on a nineteen-by-nineteen grid, with equations reading across and down in crossword fashion much as words do in Scrabble. The game is frequently described as Scrabble with math: instead of spelling words from letter tiles, players combine numeral and operator tiles so that each completed row or column resolves to a valid equation, rewarding both arithmetic fluency and the same intersecting-placement strategy that drives word-tile games.
