Drive on Stalingrad: Battle for Southern Russia Game

Modern Conquest and War Games

Drive on Stalingrad: Battle for Southern Russia Game, also published as Drive on Stalingrad: Road to Ruin, the German 1942 Summer Offensive, is a board wargame originally published by Simulations Publications Inc in 1977, designed by Brad Hessel. The two-player game simulates Germany's 1942 summer campaign into southern Russia during the Second World War, recreating the drive toward Stalingrad and the Caucasus oil fields that set up the later battle for the city itself. It belongs to SPI's extensive catalogue of Eastern Front operational wargames from the same design era.
