Detective Grimoire is a series of point-and-click detective mystery video games developed by SFB Games. The series traces back to a 2007 flash game prototype but formally began with Detective Grimoire: Secret of the Swamp in 2014, which launched on iOS before expanding to Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Steam. Its best-known entry, Tangle Tower, released in 2019 on Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch and PC before reaching PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021, and won an IndieCade Award. Each game casts the player as a detective who explores a setting, questions suspects and gathers clues to solve a murder mystery, combining logical puzzle design with character-driven narrative in the point-and-click adventure format. A further entry, The Mermaid Mask, was announced for 2024 and, after a delay, released on Steam in July 2026 as a self-contained new story rather than a direct sequel to Tangle Tower.
