Desert Falcons (board game)

Modern Conquest and War Games

Desert Falcons is a 1988 board game expansion published by Game Designers' Workshop, serving as the second expansion module for the company's Air Superiority air combat wargame. It adds further aircraft types and expanded rule options to the base game's jet combat system rather than standing as a fully independent title. Reviewing it for Games International in April 1989, Lee Brimmicombe-Wood awarded the expansion four out of five stars, calling it an essential buy for the fervent Air Superiority fan while cautioning that its new rules and comparatively primitive depiction of early jet aircraft would hold limited appeal for casual players outside that existing audience.
