Brain Quest
Educational quiz product
Brain Quest is a series of educational flashcards that quiz school age children on subjects including science, math, English, geography and history, originally created by the French company Play Bac and licensed in the United States to Workman Publishing. The core product is aimed chiefly at children in grades one through seven, with separate sets produced for younger learners, and presents question and answer pairs on individual cards that a parent, teacher or another child can read aloud to quiz the player. The line proved commercially successful, selling 4.2 million copies within its first sixteen months on the market and reaching the New York Times best seller list for children's books. The brand later expanded past the flashcard format into other products, including the two player Rock Flipper card game and the Turbo Twist handheld electronic quiz device developed with LeapFrog Enterprises.
