Blood Rage is a Viking themed board game designed by Eric Lang and published by CMON Limited in 2015. Each player controls a clan of mythological Vikings seeking glory as Ragnarok approaches, over three ages or rounds. The game combines card drafting, battles and territory control, with forces shown as sculpted plastic miniatures, and every conflict is resolved by playing cards. Cards also upgrade each clan and its leaders, warriors, ships and monsters, so clans that begin the same quickly differ. The design is based in part on Lang's 2007 game Midgard. It was first released through Kickstarter, raising just under one million dollars, and was on the recommended list for the 2015 Kennerspiel des Jahres.
