Attack! (board game)

Modern Conquest and War Games

Attack! is a board wargame created by designer Glenn Drover and published by Eagle Games in 2003. Loosely set in the 1930s, it casts two or more players as rival nations contesting territory using plastic miniatures representing tanks, infantry, artillery and aircraft, alongside a modular map of regions and resources. Its rules occupy a deliberate middle ground in complexity between the mass-market classic Risk and the deeper historical wargame Axis and Allies, combining area-control movement and combat resolution with resource management for building forces. The design earned recognition within the hobby game industry, winning the Origins Award for Best Historical Game in 2003, the year of its release, and it was followed by expansions that extended its map and scenario options for players seeking a fuller world-conquest campaign.
