Ask Pickles was a board game made in the United Kingdom from 1948 by Tower Press and popular in the 1950s. It bundled two card games in one product. The first, also called Ask Pickles, was a quiz card game of film, television and radio trivia for two to four players, and the second was Happy Families. The game was named after the radio performer Wilfred Pickles, who lived from 1900 to 1978, and it had 29 cards carrying varying scores of 5 points on yellow cards, 10 points on red cards and 20 points on blue cards. The name was also used by a separate BBC Television programme hosted by Pickles from 1954 to 1956, in which viewers wrote in hoping to have a dream come true.
