Racquetball World Championships

Team and Ball-Sport World Cups

The Racquetball World Championships, also called the World Racquetball Championships, is the top international racquetball competition and is organized by the International Racquetball Federation. The first event was held in 1981 as part of the 1981 World Games, a second followed in 1984, and the championships have run every second year since, apart from the 2020 edition, which the COVID-19 pandemic delayed by one year. Worlds have been staged in 14 countries across North and South America, Asia and Europe, with the United States hosting five times, Mexico three times, and Canada, the Dominican Republic and South Korea twice each. The 2022 edition in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, added mixed doubles for the first time and brought back the team competition, in which two countries meet in a best of three match with two singles matches and one doubles match.
