Luka Doncic is a Slovenian professional basketball player born February 28, 1999, widely considered one of the greatest European players in NBA history. After starring for Real Madrid, where he won the EuroLeague MVP award and championship, he was drafted third overall in 2018 and traded to the Dallas Mavericks, where he won the NBA Rookie of the Year award in 2019 and earned multiple All-NBA First Team selections while leading the Mavericks to the 2024 NBA Finals as Western Conference Finals MVP. He has won the NBA scoring title multiple times, scored a career-high 73 points in January 2024, and reached 10,000 career points before turning twenty five, a feat matched by only a handful of players in league history, before later joining the Los Angeles Lakers in a high-profile trade.
