Aleksandr Nikolaevich Dityatin was a Soviet and Russian artistic gymnast who lived from 1957 to 2025. At the 1980 Moscow Olympics he won eight medals, the most of any type ever won by an athlete at a single Olympic Games, including three golds in the team competition, the all-around and the still rings, and on vault he became the first male gymnast to receive a perfect score of 10 in Olympic competition. Across those Games he scored no lower than 9.800 in 24 performances, and he was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2004 after also winning multiple World and European championship titles in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
