Lyle Arnold Berman is an American professional poker player and business executive, born on 6 August 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a member of the Gaming Hall of Fame, the Poker Hall of Fame and the Mississippi Gaming Hall of Fame. Berman graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1964 with a degree in business administration and worked in his father's leather business, Berman Buckskin, later building and selling the firm that became Wilsons Leather. In 1990 he co-founded Grand Casinos, and from 1994 to 2000 he was chairman and chief executive of the Rainforest Cafe. He has also been chairman of the World Poker Tour and of Pokertek, and in 2015 merged Lakes Entertainment with Golden Gaming to create Golden Entertainment.
