Kenna James was born on 18 December 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, and is an American professional poker player who also works as a television commentator, personal coach and actor. He lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. His live tournament winnings exceed 3,500,000 dollars, with a win at the 2006 LA Poker Classic and a second place to Alex Kahaner at the World Poker Tour Legends of Poker. He has finished in the money 36 times at the World Series of Poker, including a fourth place in 2003 and a sixth place in the 2009 Razz event. He moved to California in 1985 to act, left acting for poker in 1998, began commentating in 2005 and co-hosts the Heartland Poker Tour.
