Joe Cada (born 1987) is an American professional poker player from Shelby Charter Township, Michigan, best known for winning the Main Event of the 2009 World Series of Poker. Beating a field of 6,494 entrants at the age of 21 years, 11 months and 23 days, he became the youngest Main Event champion to that date, surpassing the mark set by Peter Eastgate the year before. He began playing online at about fifteen, is primarily an online player, and became a Team PokerStars representative in 2009. He has since spoken publicly in favor of legalizing gambling, and his live tournament winnings exceed 15 million dollars.
