Garrett Adelstein

Garrett Adelstein is an American professional poker player from Tucson, Arizona, born on May 16, 1986, who focuses on live no-limit hold 'em cash games rather than tournaments. He worked as a coach at Phil Galfond's poker academy Run It Once until 2014 and is considered an aggressive player who often makes large bets. His recorded tournament results include a 48,000 dollar win at the 2008 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and small cashes in the 2010 and 2016 World Series of Poker Main Events. From 2017 he appeared regularly on live poker shows such as Live at the Bike and the revived Poker After Dark, where he won a notable 459,000 dollar hand with pocket aces against pocket kings. He also took part in Survivor: Cagayan in 2013 and was the second player voted off, and he later became a central figure in the Adelstein-Lew controversy at Hustler Casino Live in September 2022.
