Darren Elias is an American professional poker player, born on 18 November 1986 in Boston and now living in Medford, New Jersey. He holds the record for the most World Poker Tour titles, with four, and is ranked first all time in World Poker Tour victories, final tables and cashes. Before poker he was an ocean lifeguard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and he graduated from the University of Redlands in 2008. Online he played as darrenelias on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, winning two World Championship of Online Poker titles and an FTOPS title, and he was the top ranked online poker player in the world in 2009. His live tournament winnings exceed 14,000,000 dollars as of 2025.
