Danielle Andersen, born on May 21, 1984, is an American professional poker player who was previously sponsored by Ultimate Poker and is known by the online nickname dmoongirl. She picked up the game in 2003 after watching her future husband and friends play in college, and has played poker for a living since 2004, mainly Texas hold 'em cash games online, regularly at six-max stakes of 25 to 50 dollars and at times up to 200 to 400 dollars before Black Friday. She was a featured player in the documentary Bet Raise Fold, and as the face of Ultimate Poker's web series ME vs. U she competed in challenges against fellow sponsored pro Dan O'Brien. Her live tournament earnings total 136,180 dollars and she plays some WPT and WSOP events, and she is a frequent guest on Poker Night in America.
