Scott Montgomery (poker player)

Scott Montgomery, born on October 16, 1981, is a Canadian poker player from Perth, Ontario. He won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in 2010 in the 1,000 dollar no-limit hold 'em event number 36, and was one of the final table players in the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event, where he finished fifth and earned 3,088,012 dollars. His elimination came when his ace-three suited was overtaken by Peter Eastgate's pocket sixes after the board paired the six. Montgomery also has two World Poker Tour cashes, including a fifth place finish at the 2008 L.A. Poker Classic worth 296,860 dollars. As of 2024 his lifetime live tournament winnings exceeded 4,800,000 dollars, with his 14 WSOP cashes accounting for more than 3.7 million of that total.
