Evgenia Armanovna Medvedeva is a retired Russian figure skater, born in 1999 in Moscow, who won the silver medal in both the individual and team events at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. She was World Figure Skating Champion in 2016 and 2017, European Champion in the same two years, and Grand Prix Final champion twice, having also won the 2015 World Junior Championship, and she set world records thirteen times before the 2018-19 season, including being the first woman to break 80 points in the short program and 160 points in the free skate. She retired from competition in 2021 because of a chronic back injury.
