Conspiracy is a set and limited-play format for the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering, published by Wizards of the Coast and released on June 6, 2014. It was first hinted at cryptically through an unusual card distributed at prerelease events for the earlier set Born of the Gods, before Wizards of the Coast confirmed its existence and purpose. Conspiracy was designed specifically as Magic's first set built around multiplayer draft play rather than the standard one-on-one format, introducing new card mechanics meant to reward political interaction, alliance-building and sabotage among several drafting players at the same table. Each booster pack contains 10 common cards, 3 uncommon cards, 1 rare or mythic rare card, 1 card built for the drafting process itself, and 1 token or promotional card, and the set totals 210 cards, 65 of which were newly designed specifically for this multiplayer-draft concept rather than reprinted from earlier Magic sets.
