The Sydney Roosters are a professional rugby league club based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, one of the founding clubs of the New South Wales Rugby League competition in 1908 (originally as Eastern Suburbs) and among the most successful clubs in the National Rugby League's history, having won multiple premiership titles including back-to-back championships in 2018 and 2019. Playing in red, white and blue, the club is based at the Sydney Cricket Ground precinct and Allianz Stadium in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, and its long history includes some of rugby league's most celebrated players across generations of Australian premiership competition.
