Golf and Club Sports

Sports in which a player uses clubs to propel a ball across a course into a hole in as few strokes as possible. Golf is the type case, played over eighteen holes with a variety of clubs and governed by the R&A and the USGA. What belongs here is a sport where a club strikes a ball over a laid-out course. Every sport filed in this group belongs to the Precision Sports category and has its own entry in the Sport and Games Atlas, from which a reader can follow links on to its leading athletes, its competitions and the governing bodies that set its rules.
