All Hockey Games

Team games in which players use a stick to drive a ball or puck into the opposing goal. Field hockey is played on grass or artificial turf with a ball, and ice hockey is played on skates on an ice rink with a puck. Both are governed internationally and are among the most widely played team stick sports. Every sport filed in this group belongs to the Hockey Codes category and has its own entry in the Sport and Games Atlas, from which a reader can follow links on to its leading athletes, its competitions and the governing bodies that set its rules.
