All Riding Disciplines

Sports in which a rider on a horse competes over a course or a distance. The equestrian entry covers the FEI disciplines of dressage, jumping and eventing, which are judged on obedience, clearing obstacles and all-round ability, and horse racing is the contest of speed between horses ridden by jockeys on the flat or over fences. What belongs here is a sport in which one rider is judged or timed on one horse. Every sport filed in this group belongs to the Equestrian Sports category and has its own entry in the Sport and Games Atlas, from which a reader can follow links on to its leading athletes, its competitions and the governing bodies that set its rules.
