Deadlands

Role-Playing Games

Deadlands is a genre-mixing alternate history role-playing game that combines the Western and horror genres with some steampunk elements. Shane Lacy Hensley wrote the original game, and Pinnacle Entertainment Group published it in 1996. The setting won eight Origins Awards and has been converted to many other systems over the years. It is available in the original Classic Rules, in the revised Classic Rules, in d20 System and GURPS adaptations, and in a Savage Worlds version called Deadlands: Reloaded.
