Examples are the English Premier League, the German Bundesliga, the French Ligue 1, the Czech First League, the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association, the National Football League and the Indian Premier League. Belongs here: recurring league competitions run by a league or national body, in any sport, where the table or regular season is the competition. Does not belong here: the playoff series and finals that follow a North American league season, such as the Stanley Cup, the World Series and the Super Bowl, which stay under National League Championship Series, knockout cups, and international tournaments between national teams.
