The Philippine Olympic Committee is the National Olympic Committee for the Philippines, founded in 1911 and headquartered in Manila, one of the oldest National Olympic Committees in Asia. It selects and fields the Philippine Olympic team and oversees the country's Olympic sport federations, with particular national enthusiasm for basketball and boxing, and its first Olympic gold medal won in weightlifting by Hidilyn Diaz at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
