The Comite Olimpico Mexicano, the Mexican Olympic Committee, is the National Olympic Committee for Mexico, founded in 1923 and headquartered in Mexico City, the first Latin American city to host the Summer Olympics, staging the 1968 Games. It selects and fields Mexico's Olympic team and oversees the country's Olympic sport federations, with particular historical strength in boxing, athletics and diving.
