Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC)

The Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC) is the National Olympic Committee and umbrella sports body for Fiji, founded in 1949 and headquartered in Suva, responsible for selecting and fielding Fiji's Olympic team from a Pacific island nation of under a million people. It oversees Fiji's Olympic sport federations and organized the country's landmark 2016 Rio Olympics campaign, in which the Fiji national rugby sevens team won the country's first-ever Olympic medal, a gold, in the sport's Olympic debut.
