The Confederacao Brasileira de Futebol (CBF), the Brazilian Football Confederation, is the governing body for association football in Brazil, founded in 1914 under an earlier name and headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, overseeing the football federation of the country most associated worldwide with the sport's attacking style and success. It governs the Brazilian national football team, the only side to have won the FIFA World Cup five times, and organizes national domestic competitions including the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.
