Casey Stoner is an Australian retired professional motorcycle racer born October 16, 1985, and a two-time MotoGP World Champion, winning the title in 2007 and 2011. He became the first rider to win a MotoGP World Championship for Ducati, took 38 race wins and 69 podium finishes across his premier-class career, and won at Phillip Island in Australia six consecutive times. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia and was named Young Australian of the Year in 2008.
