Pandemic

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Pandemic is a cooperative board game in which two to four players work together as members of a disease-control team, traveling to cities around a world map to treat infections, share knowledge and research cures before four simulated diseases spread out of control. It was designed by Matt Leacock and first published in 2008 by Z-Man Games. The game is widely cited as one of the titles that helped popularize the cooperative board game genre, in which all players win or lose together against the game itself rather than competing against one another, and it has since been released in several expansions and spin-off editions.
