Yomi is a two-player card game designed by David Sirlin that reproduces the strategic mind games of a one-on-one fighting video game using standard-format playing cards. Each of its combatant characters has a dedicated deck of cards representing attacks, blocks and throws, and matches are decided by simultaneous card reveals in which players must predict and counter each other's chosen action. It was released in 2010 as part of Sirlin Games' Fantasy Strike line of designs, which aim to translate competitive fighting-game concepts into tabletop form.
