Zombies!!! is a tile-based strategy board game for two to six players, first published in 2002 by Twilight Creations through Journeyman Press as a tribute to zombie horror fiction, drawing particularly on the films of George A. Romero and Sam Raimi. As the game is played, participants build a town from thirty double-sided map tiles while trying to fight through a growing horde of zombies to reach the helicopter pad at the town's center, using a fifty-card event deck, life and ammunition tokens, and around one hundred plastic zombie figures included in the base set. The game won the 2001 Origins Award for Best Graphic Presentation of a Board Game, and its third expansion, Mall Walkers, won the 2003 Origins Award for Best Board Game Expansion. A standard game takes about an hour, though matches with more players or added expansions can run considerably longer.
