Blue Rose (role-playing game)

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Blue Rose is a fantasy role-playing game created by Jeremy Crawford, Dawn Elliott, Steve Kenson and John Snead and published by Green Ronin Publishing in 2005. It is set in a world built around the romantic fantasy genre, a lighter, more idealistic style of fantasy fiction than the grim settings common to many tabletop games of its era, and the original edition ran on Green Ronin's d20-derived True20 system. A second edition, revised in 2017, moved the game onto Green Ronin's own Adventure Game Engine (AGE), the system also used for the publisher's Dragon Age line.
