If I Were a Lich, Man is a boxed set of three comedic Jewish tabletop role-playing games about creative resistance against authoritarianism, designed by Lucian Kahn with illustrations by Ezra Rose and published by Hit Point Press in 2023 after a Kickstarter campaign that raised 84,590 dollars in two weeks. The games were written between 2017 and 2020 in opposition to fascism in the United States, drawing inspiration from the television series What We Do in the Shadows and Russian Doll. The title game, for four players, imagines a family meeting of Jewish liches arguing over how to defend themselves against killer paladins representing white supremacy and Christian hegemony in America, and uses dreidels instead of dice. Same Bat Time, Same Bat Mitzvah is a live-action roleplaying game for seven to thirteen players set at a Bat Mitzvah party where the guests are turning into vampires. Grandma's Drinking Song, also for four players, has participants write a drinking song together while acting out short scenes based on true stories from Kahn's own family history of bootlegging during Prohibition in New York City. The collection won a 2024 Silver ENNIE Award for Best Family Game and an Indie Game Developer Network award.
