Dungeon Crawl Classics

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Dungeon Crawl Classics, abbreviated DCC or DCC RPG, is a role-playing game published by Goodman Games. The core rulebook, released in 2012, uses the Open Game License and the version 3.5 System Reference Document to stay compatible with the revised third edition of Dungeons & Dragons, while adding its own rules for spellcasting mishaps, character funnels, and old-school-styled dungeon adventuring. The Dungeon Crawl Classics name was first used from 2003 for an earlier line of adventure modules compatible with the d20 System edition of Dungeons & Dragons, before Goodman Games built a standalone rules set carrying the same title and back-to-basics heroic fantasy and sword-and-sorcery tone.
