Elfs is a tabletop role-playing game published by Adept Press in 2001 as a PDF. It was the second role-playing game by Ron Edwards, who created Adept Press as the imprint through which he published his own designs. In the game the players take on the roles of sleazy and dim-witted elves who like to loot and kill, so it casts its participants as anything but the noble heroes of much fantasy fiction. It belongs to the group of independent role-playing games of the Forge era, and its publication is discussed in Shannon Appelcline's history of the hobby, Designers and Dragons.
