Dorfromantik: The Board Game is a cooperative tile-laying board game designed by Lukas Zach and Michael Palm and published in November 2022 by the German company Pegasus Spiele, adapting the acclaimed 2021 video game of the same name. From one to six players work together, laying hexagonal tiles depicting terrains such as forests, fields, houses, rivers and railways to build a continuous landscape, while also drawing task tiles that reward completing specific patterns, such as a stretch of unbroken forest or a river connecting to a lake. The game plays in thirty to sixty minutes and is recommended for players aged eight and up. An English-language edition followed in the United States in March 2023. Dorfromantik: The Board Game won the 2023 Spiel des Jahres, Germany's most prestigious board game award, and had sold roughly five hundred thousand copies by November 2023.
