This board game, titled Coin Hopping, Washington D.C., was designed by J. F. Cartier and published in 2007, for players aged 8 and up. Each player takes on the role of an interest group touring an illustrated map of Washington, D.C., aiming to control the three branches of the United States government. Movement across the board is controlled by the placement of coins rather than dice, and winning requires simultaneously assembling a stack of one penny, one nickel, one dime and one quarter while placing citizen pieces in each of the Capitol, the White House and the Supreme Court. The game won the iParenting Media Award and a place on Dr. Toy's 100 Best Children's Products list for 2008. Its infobox carries no player count field, and that detail remains outstanding for a later research pass.
