Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game

The Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game, commonly abbreviated B5 CCG, is an out of print collectible card game set in the fictional universe of the television series Babylon 5. It was published by Precedence Entertainment, with the first sets released in North America starting December 11, 1997, and the game remained in production until 2000. Unlike many collectible card games of its era that were built primarily around one-on-one duels, the Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game was explicitly designed to support multiplayer play, with the designers targeting four to five participants as the ideal group size while allowing games with as few as two or as many as twenty players. Card sets reflected the political and diplomatic intrigue central to the Babylon 5 television series, giving players tools to form and break alliances, negotiate, and maneuver for influence among the show's various governments and factions rather than relying purely on direct combat.
