Dobble is a matching card game in which players race to spot the single symbol shared between any two cards from a deck of fifty five, each printed with eight different symbols chosen so that exactly one symbol always matches between any pair. Sold in North America as Spot It!, the game traces its concept to an original 1976 design by Jacques Cottereau, with the modern version developed by Denis Blanchot and first published in France in 2009 by Blue Orange Games before an English language release followed in the United Kingdom in 2011; Asmodee took over publishing from 2015 onward. Suited to two to eight players, its fast paced pattern recognition play helped make it the best selling game in the United Kingdom in both 2018 and 2019.
