Three thirteen

Three thirteen is a variation of the card game rummy played over eleven rounds with two or more players, using two standard decks of Anglo-American playing cards with the jokers removed. Each round is named for the number of cards dealt to each player, running from three cards up through thirteen, and players work to form sets and runs in their hand before going out, in a format that takes typically between twenty minutes and two hours to complete. The game originated in the United States as a home and family card game rather than a commercially published product.
