Domino (card game)

Domino, also called Card Dominoes, Spoof, Sevens, Fan Tan in the United States, or Parliament in the United Kingdom, is a shedding-type card game for three to eight players played with a standard thirty-two or fifty-two card French or German deck. Players take turns building up sequences within each suit from an agreed starting card, matching the rank and suit of cards already laid down, and must draw from the stock when they cannot play a legal card. The game is won by whoever empties their hand first. Its structure borrows the matching logic of the tile game dominoes while using an ordinary card deck, and its low reliance on chance and simple rules have made it a common introductory card game for children able to recognize card values, typically from about age six upward.
