Judged Skating Disciplines

Ice skating disciplines in which a panel scores the performance for technical elements and artistry. Figure skating, with its singles, pairs and ice dance events, is the type case, combining jumps, spins, lifts and choreography to music. What belongs here is a skating sport decided by judged marks. Every sport filed in this group belongs to the Ice Skating Sports category and has its own entry in the Sport and Games Atlas, from which a reader can follow links on to its leading athletes, its competitions and the governing bodies that set its rules.
