Star Wars Miniatures

Modern Conquest and War Games

Star Wars Miniatures is a skirmish miniatures game for two players using pre-painted figures from nine factions of the Star Wars setting, published by Wizards of the Coast and listed by Board Game Matcher as a 2004 release. Each player builds a point-based squad and then maneuvers it on a grid map, using character abilities and varied powers to outmaneuver the opponent. Board Game Matcher lists a playing time of about 60 minutes, a medium weight of 2.3 and a suggested age of twelve and up, names dice rolling, a modular board and role playing among its key mechanics, and notes that the game can also be played online through VASSAL.
