Chase is a two-player abstract strategy board game designed by Tom Kruszewski and first released in 1985. It is played on a board with a hexagonal grid and uses dice as the playing pieces rather than separate tokens. Each player begins with nine dice whose upturned faces add up to 25 pips, and the number showing on a die decides how many spaces it may move. Dice travel across the grid, wrap around the edges of the board and bounce off the walls when they still have movement left. Landing on an opponent's die captures it, and capturing the opponent's dice wins the game. Several firms have published the game over the years, among them Tactical Studies Rules (TSR), Laurin Verlag and nestorgames. A session takes about forty-five minutes and the game is rated as medium in weight.
