Concept (board game)

Deduction and Guessing Games

Concept is a deduction party board game released in 2013, designed by Alain Rivollet and Gaetan Beaujannot and published by Repos Production. Players use a shared board of general icons, such as colors, shapes, animals and actions, placing marker cubes on combinations of icons to lead their teammates toward guessing a secret word or phrase, without speaking or using letters and numbers, so the icons alone must carry the full meaning. Its icon-based approach to charades-style guessing, rather than drawing or acting, made it a distinctive addition to the party and deduction game category after its release.
