Star Wars: Rebellion is an asymmetrical strategy board game designed by Corey Konieczka and published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2016. Set in the world of the original Star Wars trilogy, it lets one player lead the Galactic Empire and another lead the Rebel Alliance across the galaxy. The two sides pursue different paths to victory. The Empire has vast forces and wins by finding and conquering the hidden Rebel base, while the outnumbered Rebels rely on subterfuge, guerrilla tactics and diplomacy to build support and ignite a full galactic revolt. Each round has an assignment phase where leaders are sent on missions, a command phase for revealing missions and moving units, and a refresh phase. Combat is resolved with dice and tactic cards. The game was received very positively and won numerous awards.
